Boys P.E. Teacher
If you were to ask Ben Mosley as a child what his favorite subject in school was, he
most likely would have said, “PE.” So, it’s perfect that Ben Mosley is joining Christ
the Savior Academy as the afternoon PE teacher this year.
“I loved PE class as a kid. I was probably the kid that enjoyed it too much. That was
always my favorite part of the week, and I can’t wait to share it with the Christ the
Savior Academy students,” Mr. Mosley said.
While PE is all fun and games, Mr. Mosley believes it is much more than that. It
should teach the students valuable skills, such as balance, coordination and
Mr. Mosley has more than six years of experience serving under the legendary PE
teacher, Rick Pappas, in vacation Bible School, and he aspires to take a page out of
Pappas’ PE game plan – using games to teach children.
A 2018 graduate of Kansas State University, Mr. Mosley has duel degrees in
Kinesiology and Sociology. He also serves as Youth Director at St. George Orthodox
In a year with COVID protocols in place, Mr. Mosley sees PE playing a role in helping
the students’ school year feel more “normal.”
“PE will play a vital role this year in the life of the school,” Mosley said. “It will offer a
great opportunity for the children to unwind, have fun and just be normal kids. With
a few modifications to games, we can still have a really good time.”
