About Ellen
Mrs. Ropar believes that every classroom is its own unique community, complete with diversity of personalities and learning abilities. She holds herself to helping each child to develop their learning styles and reaching their fullest potential. Her life-long love of working with children is strengthened each day as she witnesses their wonder of the world around them.
Mrs. Ropar began her journey of working with children as a Teacher’s Aide at a church operated preschool in Orange, California. She began her studies at Orange Coast College earning her AA Degree with a Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Transferring to Calif. State University at Fullerton, she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development. Finally, after extensive experience as a Preschool Teacher and/or Director, she completed a second degree in Elementary Education at Newman University, Wichita, and holds a current Teachers License in the State of Kansas.
“I have loved working with children nearly my entire adult life,” says Mrs. Ropar. “I believe God has blessed me with this love and desire to help His children grow in love and knowledge of Him.” Mrs. Ropar’s favorite quote is by A.A. Milne (aka, Winnie the Pooh); “Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and loved more than you know.”
