Admissions at Christ
the Savior Academy

Your Pathway to Excellence

At Christ the Savior Academy, we understand the importance of choosing the right school for your family. It’s hard to find a school you can trust. For over a decade, we have been dedicated to providing a classical education where children from Pre-K through 8th grade can flourish academically and spiritually within our Christian community.

Admission Process

When you’re researching school options for your child, it’s best to have the time and space you need to make an informed decision. That’s why we provide different options that allow you to get to know Christ the Savior Academy: personalized tour, informational phone call, or go straight to an application.

1

Choose Your Starting Point

School Tour

For most families, the admissions process begins by requesting a tour. The school has been recommended to them by a friend, family member, someone for church or work. They’ve done the initial research. Now they want to see the campus, meet the teachers, and observe the students in action. If this sounds like you, schedule your school tour in our Inquiry Form.

Informational Phone Call

Other families may be earlier in their exploration. They are still considering several different schools and really need to have some key questions answered before they are ready to visit in-person. If this is a better description of where you are, let us know what day works best for you in our Inquiry Form.

Online Application

Still others already know that Christ the Savior Academy is the right school for their family. Perhaps they have close friends or family who have been with us for years. Maybe they’ve been observing the school already, eagerly waiting for their child to be school-age. For whatever reason, their decision is all but made and they don’t want to be forced through an unnecessary exploration process. If this is the case, our Online Application is waiting for you!

2

Start an Application

Your admissions file is opened once we receive an online application and fee. To begin, you will create a FACTS account and start a new application. Here you will complete the online application form, which gathers basic information about the applicant and your family. The final step to submit the application and open your applicant’s file is to submit the $50 non-refundable application fee.

  • Early Decision Application Deadline – February 1st
  • Regular Decision Application Deadline – April 1st
  • Rolling Decision Application Deadline – April 2nd and later
3

Placement Testing

All students applying for admission to CSA participate in a placement test in order to help us better meet their needs. Once your application is complete, we will schedule this assessment to be administered on our campus. PreK and Kindergarten applicants should make arrangements to attend our January 31st assessment day. (Future dates will be scheduled as needed.) Applicants to grades 1 through 8 will be scheduled on an individual basis. Students applying to grades 5 through 8 will also have a student interview as part of their placement testing.
4

Family Interview

Upon reviewing the student placement test, the family may be invited for an on-campus interview. The interview provides a time for us to get to know one another more personally and an opportunity for you to ask questions. Interviews are scheduled for approximately 45 minutes on an individual basis. The application includes space for parents to list particular questions or concerns they would like to have addressed during the interview. Students are asked to visit their corresponding class on the day of the family interview. PreK through 4th grade will complete their visit during the time parents are being interviewed. Older students (5th through 8th) are asked to shadow for the whole morning, and are invited to stay through lunch and lunch recess.
5

Timing

Application, placement testing, and family interview must be completed by the date listed below in order for an applicant’s file to be put before the Admissions Committee.

  • Early Decision Round Deadline – February 15th
  • Regular Decision Round Deadline – April 15th
  • Rolling Decision Round Deadline – case by case basis

Parents can check the status of their application and monitor their checklist by logging into the application portal.
